How can I disable the limit that is imposed on IE download sessions. Why can I not download 10-20 files at once (I appear to be limited to two). Is there a way to change this ?

i believe there is a registry hack that will fix it, but not sure of the location... and astalavista or google search should help, or hopefully someone can give u a link

nonetheless, here's a bump for ya

[EDIT]: i failed to mention that such programs as downloadaccelerator and getright will allow you to download as many things as you want, but you wanna use IE, so i dunno if this will help or not

1. You can download X-Setup and use this to change that option.
2. You can hack the registry. In Win2k it is in the key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

Here, enter the following DWORD values (they're not there by default):

MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server (this is for older servers, default value is 4)
MaxConnectionsPerServer (for newer 1.1 servers, I use a DWORD value of 12 for this. Default is 2.)
