? limiting access in WIN ME

Does anyone know of a way to limit access to ME?

I would like to stop the installtion of app's from the drives (CD and Floppy). And prevent downloading and installing anything! Even the so called upgrades and updates. By anyone other than myself.

My nephew thinks that everytime a pop up window tells him to "click here" he has to do it.

I would like to have this computer just for net access. And let him install games to his own computer.


I do not run ME. This is for my sister's computer. I need for my nephew to be able to use I.E. and not do any damage.

Unfortunately with Windows 98/Me this isnt possible.
Even if you assign them a "user logon", they can just hit the ESC key and login as a normal new user and install away.
Upgrade them to Win2 or Win-XP if you NEED this type of security.

Of course if you do that expect a phone call everytime they want onstall some casino game or AOL or anything.
