Limited to No Connectivity

I have been reading up on the Limited to no Connectivity error message for a while. I have installed the SP2 bug fix for windows, and ive tried to use the winsock application to fix my problem. What i am trying to do is use my PCs LAN card to connect my Xbox (for Halo 2) to the internet. I am getting the connection from my wireless network and want to use the PC as a router/access point. My friends and I have done this before. My network is simple, i have a crossover cable going from my LAN card to the Xbox. Unfortunatly i cannot connect because i have no DNS cause of the limited to no connectivity issue. If anyone can help me with this problem it would be greatly appreciated
