Tag Heuer produced a limited edition watch to celebrate their 15 years association with the McLaren team.

The Tag Heuer Ti5 McLaren Chronograph watch is manufactured from materials used in Formula One and includes a carbon-fibre dial (featuring the McLaren logo in relief) with luminescent hourmarkers, a unidirectional bezel and a convex scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass, as well as the clever grooved Formula One tyre patterns set into the vulcanised rubber strap. In addition it is extremely lightweight and its construction consists of an alloy that is 90% titanium, 6% aluminium and 4% vanadium.

The 999 watches produced would be presented in a leather case, which includes a rear suspension push rod and a titanium component from the front suspension from the McLaren team's 2001 contender, the MP4-16.

Tag Heuer presented McLaren boss Ron Dennis with watch number 1, Mika Hakkinen and David Coulthard with watch number 2 and 3 respectively.
