Trying to set up a wireless LAN for my stepmother and her brother. PC is using a D-Link DWL-G122 connected to a Linksys WRT54GS.
The network was functioning normally and suddenly Windows said that the network had "Limited Connectivity." I rebooted the computer, rolled back the WLAN driver, repaired the connection, moved the router and WLAN adapter, manually assigned an IP, reset the router to factory defaults, updated the router firmware, changed the SSID, disabled WEP, pulled my hair out, and screamed.
The wired connection is fully functional and the WLAN adapter functioned normally on my own WRT54G at home, and connects with pretty good signal strength (54Mbps 80% signal) but can't get an IP assigned to it. Anyone gone through a similar situation?
