Maybe she is a girl.

@VirtualLarry & amdhunger

He/she needs a monitor, mouse and keyboard too (and Windows, I presume), so those builds are overbudget.

On that budget it probably makes sense to scale back the $520 video card to something in the $250 range. That should save enough money for a monitor, especially if you go with a traditional HDD instead of the SSD. It's also probably not worth spending $101 on the case and $90 on the PSU in this instance. (Referencing amdhunter's build here.)

Making those changes would save somewhere between $250 and $300, which should buy a monitor and an OEM version of Windows.

Edit: And I just noticed the 16GB DDR3, there's no sense in that right now. I'd be more tempted to try to squeeze in an SSD than a mostly useless extra 8GB of RAM.

That's a really nice setup when you consider it gets you everything including keyboard, mouse, monitor and OS for under $1100.

This'll be a pretty good build, although about $50 over budget. You might spend some of your own money for this. ;)
Edit: If you can spend another $20 or so, I would HIGHLY recommend getting an aftermarket CPU cooler to make it quieter and cooler.

Look in the For sale section. Lots of great deals there. Just seen a X58 platform going for 250$ 920 C0 stepping and a Asrock X58 Extreme.. don't' remember the ram. 1156 platforms are decent too. 45nm tech is getting a little long in the tooth but would probably be very cheap.
