LILO took over my boot options

Ok, I installed Slack (poorly without all the packages) and now I want to try another distribution of Linux. LILO comes up and I dont get the option to BOOT from CDrom like I used too. How do I get it to boot from CDrom now? Or can I do a fresh install from command line (slackware)LINUX.

I want to try Debian and Ubuntu. I know its "ID-10T" error, but I cant get my linksys wireless card configured correctly in slack and the fluxbox x windows just leaves alot to be desired (some of the stuff doesnt work in the menus).

[EDIT] ok, im a dumb@ss. I just ran CFDISK and im repartitioning the drive.

[EDIT2] Woot Woo! Choo Choo!! I posting thru mozilla in SLACK!
Now... how do i make seperate users, and time to learn the file system so I can dl and install FIREFOX.

You're confusing me.

Did you still need to be able to boot from CDROM? If that's the case in your BIOS set it up so that it first goes to your CDROM before it goes to hard drive to boot.

A good distro to try is Ubuntu. It's become very popular as of late and is very easy to use. Also, probably doesn't have as much driver issues as Slack.
