Being my first post I hope this isn't out of line. I saw the weird nowheremom story on the Register. I'm sure it's been beaten to death but I didn't see that anyone had posted this. Whoever the freak was making that story up he was pretty unoriginal. Lili Marlene is from a Leonard Cohen song called "Famous Blue Raincoat" which was written back in '76 or so. It sort of fits in an odd way... For those interested:
