today I turned 18, and my inspiron 5150 laptop came in the mail. im posting from it right now (wireless router) in the tv room. this lappy is so cool. i got it for college, and it should be a reall advantage for going to class and stuff. i love it, its so awesome. on the downside, i can now get in a lot of trouble for feelin up the litttle girls:frown:

You can get in trouble for feeling up the little girls even if you're under 18, although now you can be prosecuted as an adult.*

Congrats on the laptop, BTW. Just remember that all you've got to look forward to now is turning 21, then it's all downhill from there. ;)



*My brother dated a girl years ago in high school. This girl was 16 and had had a boyfriend before who was also 16. Her (strict Mormon) parents caught them having sex and called the cops on the boyfriend, who promptly got hauled to jail for stat rape. Being under 18 doesn't CYA in that case.

Depends on your state's laws. In NC, they have the '3 years' rule with minimum age for consentual sex set at 14. Meaning a 17 yr old can have sex with a 14 yr old, an 18 yr old can have sex with a 15 yr old, 19/16/, 20/17, 21+/18. At least I think that's how it worked...:confused: Didn't pay attention to that cuz I wasn't gettin' any in high school...
