I dropped a wood lacquer stain all over my Galaxy S Vibrant. Although I got it partially working again (the battery wouldn't charge due to buildup of goo but I cleaned that), I noticed the front speaker doesn't work. When I place a call I can speak and the other person can hear me but I can't hear them. Although I believe one way conversations are the best conversations, sometimes the person on the other end of the line might actually have something worth listening to so I've opened up the phone, and, much to my horror, the entire electrical stomach is stained brown.

I have two questions.

1 - How do you dudes/dudettes think I can clean this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOvt6atrin8 (mute the sound or you'll shoot yourself) I followed that and was considering using a distilled alcohol solution but don't know how and I'm afraid of killing it for good. Any other ideas? How can I be extra careful?

2 - Is it really a problem at all? Are the people on the other end of the line worth listening to? Maybe I can pretend to be deaf but an amazing speaker.
