This reminds me of when I have two music players going at the same time. It's as if Eminem was playing on iTunes, and some rock song on Winamp. It sounded too busy, and wasn't that great IMHO.

All of Dream Theater's music combined could not counteract how horrible a single rap "song" is. It's THAT bad.

I like Eminem, not that big a fan of Dream Theater, I didn't really care for this mashup either.

it's less about eminem and more about the metal. It'd be good without vocals.

I like Dream Theater a lot, and Eminem is ok, but this mashup (or whatever you want to call it) is really awful. The two parts don't mesh at all.

not a fan of mashups in general. I would Take em or DT on their own just fine.

the mashup you heard is NOT dream theater.

It's a guy who's famous for his prog writing skills that was discovered on their forums.

He's not a rap fan, but did the eminem thing as a joke.

Some people actually like the result though, as I did.

I actually like Eminem, only rap I can really stand... and I really like Dream Theater, but not really a fan of all metal. It's gotta be just right.
But this mix, I just can't do... some Eminem would go well in a mashup, but not that song, or at least, not with that metal beat. Actually, I can't imagine any metal of that style being mashed up with any hiphop and it turning out right.
