I knew there was some mechanism in place, and I did see what is obviously the like button, I just never connected the two. Honest to god, I never once thought about pushing that little button to see what happens. Or perhaps I did know and forgot, but I find that possibility even more frightening than the first. I'm at the age where one takes those things very seriously.

People can actually unlike a post, that they initially "liked". Unfortunately you have no control over people liking what you post.

If we had a "not liked" button, probably all hell would break loose in the CPU and VC&G forums.

I'd go into negative numbers in an afternoon. But I'm kind of a dick so it's understandable.

On the subject of forum software, a couple weeks back a thing popped up saying I received a trophy, whats up that? Who decides who gets one, and why on earth would any of you spend any time figuring that all out? Seems like that would be a full time job.

It has to do with number of likes and sometimes the number of posts you make.

Thanks for the info. I assume the list in that link is incomplete as it doesn't list the one I received. I'll dig into it when I have some free time.

BTW, there is a UNLIKE button. When you click on LIKE, it changes to UNLIKE. IOW, you can unlike something you liked.

I think P&N actually needs a "hate" button, other than the one that say's "Post Reply".
