Lightweight Browser and MP3 player choices?

I am building a laptop for my garage. PDF, Browser, and MP3 will be it's only functions. I have 128MB ram and trying to find 1 or 2 256MB chips.

HD space is 60GB.

I have licenses for XP SP2 and 2000 but I think the latest players and browsers are pretty heavy on a system.

suggestions are welcome, even Windows alternatives.

One of the light Linux distros, and Win2k or under would work well. I like Puppy for a light Linux. It's peppy, and it'll do everything you want.

Debian for distro, mpd for mp3s. mpg123 (321? whichever is the free one) if you're desperate. How functional of a web browser do you need? Good javascript support?

it's got to handle flash stuff like rockauto.com and parts.com / trademotion.

That's about the extent of my needs.

Latest Firefox is getting a bit chubby.

Opera's faster than Firefox. Also, if your running Linux, and don't keep sensitive information on the machine, you could use an older Firefox version.
