lights on computer...

I just did a clean install of win2000. I have 3 led lights on my comp, one red for harddisk access, one green for power and one orange which I don't know what it's for. The orange led light now goes on during the win2000 boot screen and then stays on after that, which never happened before I reinstalled win2000. I'm guessing that the orange light has something to do with the power since it has that little zig-zag lightning symbol above it. I tried looking for the 'advanced power management support' in control panel -> power options but it isn't there (I remember it's there before reinstall.) So anyone know or have any ideas as to why that orange led light is on? It doesn't seem to be affecting my computer in anyway. Is it okay if I just leave it like that? Thanks in advance.

My guess would be that it is just a power LED that should be on when your computer is on, especially since you say it has the zig-zag over it. Does the green one have a label? Reguardless, leaving it that way won't hurt anything, and if it is annoying, just unplug it from the motherboard.
