Yeah, carbon fiber one will be lightest but it will have a high premium

IBM is one of the top laptop manufacturers. Buy a Dell but don't come crying when it breaks.

My broken Thinkpad ratio is much higher than my Dell ratio. Plus I'm not allowed to purchase IBM.

Fujitsu Lifebooks are pretty nice. Look at the "S" series.
