Lightboost hack with 290X

I just upgraded from an eVGA 670GTX to Tri-x 290x. I have 144" Asus monitor but after reinstalling the Toasty X software I can't get my lightboost to work.

I was pretty confident it would work but not having much luck, am I screwed? 🙁

What drivers are you using? Did you use DDU to clear the Nvidia drivers?

I am using the latest CCC drivers.

Here's the process I took:

Uninstalled Nvidia drivers
rebooted into safemode
Ran Driver Cleaner Professional
Rebooted windows
Installed CCC drivers
Uninstalled Toasty X and reinstalled Toasty X

It asks what "hz" option I want to install. I selected 120 and 144hz then prompts me to reboot. When I boot to desktop it says the program isn't working and prompts me to hit close.

I believe you need to set a 120Hz for the LB hack, and then a 121Hz for non LB. Then a 144Hz as well.

I'm trying to remember what I did... but it's been a while. It works all the time though, so once you get it sorted you should have no problem.
