Tools/Options/ Privacy Uncheck third party cookies. Use disconnect and DoNotTrackMe.

Everyone who downloads Lightbeam will be contributing to a central open database showing how first- and third-party sites are connected to each other.

It's a selection switch that I think is off by default. I'm not 100% on the default behavior cause it updated over my copy of Collusion, and I don't remember how that shipped.
