Howdy all -

So I've been looking for a couple of gooseneck wall sconces to light up a big wall panel (5'x8'). The sconces will be placed at the upper corners (the panel is horizontal).

I found a few, including this:
http://www.modernlighting.com/index.php?module=prod_detail&prod_id=51381

This says it uses a halogen bulb MR16/GU10/50W/120V. Ultimately I need something strong enough to actually do a decent job lighting the panel, with a wide enough beam to cover most of it, with around a 3000K color temp, and dimmable. I'm not sure what the answer to the problem is here, but the first question I have is can I use other bulb types (LED?) in place of the halogen bulb?

The highest wattage dimmable flood LED I can find is this:
http://www.amazon.com/Philips-420190.../dp/B0083GZWKQ

This says it's only 35W equivalent despite being 10W (what's up with that?). Would this work in the fixture? Also, is that about the highest power I'm probably going to be able to find? Should I just look for a different fixture?
