Ok so i know you aren't supposed to do, say curls everyday, but when i do it every other day i get almost no difference. Im pushing myself as hard as i can for the workout session, however im not sore the next day. (Im using a 22 Pound dumbell and doing 2 sets of 20 reps in each arm; 8 minutes straight abs (Verying exercises); and dips, pushups, and wide body pullups for triceps).

Is it ok to lift everday say for Biceps, Triceps.

Also why is it ok to work out your abs every single day?

Per my trainer, you don't necessarily have to be sore to have had a good workout...at least not for my body type (tall & lean). Try heavier weight and lower reps if you want to build strength/size.

you need your muscles to "repair" so you need that one to two day break before damaging them again.

Under no circumstances should a normal person be working out any of the major muscle groups every single day.

So i should definitely alternate days?

What about abs. I heard that like legs (Running for instance) can be exercised everyday. Do these muscles heal faster than biceps?

With the abs, let me make it clear that it isn't all abs. I work out Obliques, Super Obliques, Upper and Lower Abs in that 8 minute session.

Edit: Not sure if it will help out, I am 5'8" 148 Pounds, Lean but muscular.

Yes.

I'm loosely (need to schedule my time better) following this program. Started gaining weight & strength -- from 6' ~147lb to 6' 153lb in a couple/few weeks..and I'm still not eating enough.

Whoa...if dong them every day is bad: one of my mates, for at least a week, did dumbell curls about 6 or 7 times a day, pretty much every hours of the day. Don't know what weight he was doing, and don't know what kind of repititions he was doing either, but that's bad, right?

if you want to bulk up a muscle group, give them a break (repair=muscle fibers replaced with more fibers=more lean muscle mass)

if you want to tone muscle group, then you don't necessarily need to alternate but there comes a point that after 4 days of running that you definitely need to rest them (abs, legs, etc).

You aren't trying to build your abs which is why you can work them every day.

And about your arms... you need to lift something more than that 22 lb dumbbell. Try a 30 pounder or 40 or whatever is enough that you can only do 8-10 reps max or so. You are trying to build muscle which is gonna require some real effort on your part.

There should be at least 48 hours between muscle workouts. Just because you aren't sore doesn't mean you aren't getting a workout. Also, try changing it up. Plus, you've gotta push yourself if you want to improve. If every day you do the same exercises, same amount of reps, same weights, you aren't going to improve. Raise the weight. Push harder. You REALLY gain when you are pushing yourself to failure, not when you are just repeating what your body is capable of doing.

In short, do more exercises, do different weights, and push yourself.

Well i would but thats all the weight i can fit on the dumbells. I have 2 of them each with 22 Pounds on them.

I just got a membership to the YMCA, so i can go there instead (Its just a good 20 min drive though).

I just have to set up a lifting program. I dont know that many different lifting techniques.
