Lifting weights and height

Does lifting weights stop height growth if you start at an early age? Im 5'6" and 18 next week.

You're very short and probably will not grow any further.

Ever hear of gravity? Anytime you move you're lifting yourself. You better go lie down. 😉

It's actually true. You're about 1/4th of an inch taller in the morning, when you wake up, than at night, after having been on your feet all day.

the only thing that could stunt your growth would be doing squats which I severely doubt your doing. Thats about it, bench press, leg press, arm curls, thighs, calves etc. aren't going to stunt your growth or really screw up your spine.

A lot more than 1/4" taller. I am nearly 1 inch taller in the morning, about 5'9 and then im back to 5'8 at the end of the day.

Height is not the only thing you gain a few inches in during the morning 😉

What is up with morning wood, why does one have a wood in the morning? Only reason I can think of is because I need to pee but that probably isn't it.
