Lifers and Elites (and Mods/Admins/etc) should get longer SIGs

I can't even fit all of my rigs into my sig. What a bummer. Well, that and including rubycon's quote. Can I get more sig space, please?
 
Why? I disable sigs anyways because they are annoying. If you really want to fit all your sigs in your rig, then compress it with lzma and base64 encode it. Then, anyone that actually wants to read about it, can.
 
And I limit everyone's sigs to 93 pixels (about 5 lines) in height, with CSS in Stylish. If you haven't said it by then I don't care to read any more.

If you feel the NEED to list everything imagineable in your sig set up a website page and post a simple link.
 
I dont think you understand what a signature is. Its like a sign, for words.
It is NOT the Gettysburg Address. And if we let sigs get any bigger then everyone will just start disabling them, and no one will ever see yours.

Dont do it.
 
I would actually vote for a forced text size=1 color=gray for sigs, and lowering the character limit...
 
If a computer isn't in a sig does it really exist? 🙂 I understand the need as this is a tech site and if you can't brag about your PCs here where can you? But there's only so much clutter one can add to a post before it makes a thread difficult to read. Like someone else said, maybe you need to link it to another site. You could make an image listing all your rigs and info and then link it in your sig after upping it to a free host. Something like, "Click here to view my 26 computers!" LOL

Include a counter on that webpage just so you can see how many people REALLY care about what computers you have. If it breaks double digits, I would be shocked.
