Some testers reported problems running the client on
DOS-based Windows system (such as Win98 or Win ME). In this case we
recommend to use the GUI client instead.

i run the LM cli on a windows 98 se box with no issues at all. i run the cli and use Tray It! to minimize that badboy to the system tray. runs like a champ
