McDonald's burgers were always my favorite.. They tasted super cheesy. But, with the last Monopoly game where I didn't get about 15 Best Buy bucks because they were always out of large fries, I've decided never to go again - no more Quarter Pounders, Big Macs, McGriddles..
It wasn't until after I sent a long, thought-out email to McDonald's corporate and was subsequently ignored that I decided I would never go again. I'll go when they give me 15 Best Buy bucks. That is how many times I went to McDonald's and they didn't have large fries. In fact, during that Monopoly game, I went 18 times total. I only got 2 BB bucks. This is at multiple locations in multiple cities in Florida. They were ALWAYS out of BB bucks. One time especially pissed me off because they gave me large fries with the BB bucks already ripped off the container. I got utterly pissed off every time a McDonald's employee was rude to me for asking about the BB bucks. It's not like they didn't advertise the hell out of it.
I haven't been to a McDonald's since. Every time I get the urge for some quick food, I just go to Wendy's, Burger King, or Checkers.. Ya, their burgers all taste slightly different (I could pick either of the four in a blindfolded taste test), but I don't mind grabbing a Champburger or a Whopper instead. I figure costing them about $100 per year for the rest of my life will be sufficient payback for the loss I suffered of not being able to get a free 50pack of blank cds at Best Buy. I usually go maybe 20 times a year.. I went there especially because of the advertised Monopoly game. Maybe one day I'll break down and buy a Quarter Pounder.. but I doubt it. I think I am done with Ronald.
When I think about it, there really aren't any corporations that I am fed up with enough with completely avoid them for the rest of my life except for McDonalds. I mean.. I hate Tmobile, but I haven't bothered to change my contract yet because it seems to be working for the time being.
What are some corporations that you guys hate and will never buy from no matter what?
