Life without computers

I certainly think we can't. Some asshats in my history class yesterday seemed to think we could when the teacher asked the question.

What do you guys think? And remember, not everyone uses them like we do or as often.

That's a silly situation because today's society wouldn't be here without computers. it would be based around something else. 😕

why wouldn't we be here without computers?

We could do it, but we'd have big problems adjusting.

Do you realize how many things fit the technical definition of a computer?

not to mention about 99% of cash registers, inventory systems, credit systems, etc rely on computers

imagine going to cub and the cashier has to ring everything up by hand, LOTS of people would get impatient and mad

no not if it required people to go from useing them, then transitioning to not useing them

too many people would get irritable

Of course we COULD...but why would we want to?

Me, I would go out to the back porch with a katana and slice my guts out.

I'd love to live in a world without computers. Or viruses, or guns or airplanes or toys or stupid diet shakes. and no dr. phil. Guess we don't live in a perfect world, huh. :disgust:

plenty of people dont have computers. i went 6 months without one and it took me two days to get used to it. its really just another usless filler in the stream of life.
