You know.......life under the empire doesn't seem so bad.

I mean, it doesn't seem much different than life under the old republic, except the rebels make it a living hell.

The Rebellion caused the death of billions on alderaan, tens of thousands on the super star destroyer executor, and possibly hundreds of thousands on the death stars.


Now, if the rebels had just not decided to cause chaos.....was the Empire really that bad?

I've just received word that the Emperor has dissolved the council permanently. The last remnants of the Old Republic have been swept away. Anyone confirm?

Some people view the Empire as representative of the Nazi regime and that the Jedi are representative of Jews.

There are several visual elements in the films that mirror Nazis, even terms like Stormtrooper.

in one of the new jedi order books, leia states taht 6 billion were killed on alderaan.
