Got another one.

When carrying your coffee in a mug, slightly wiggle the mug to prevent spilling. This will disrupt oscillations which, I have found, are the main reason to spill coffee over the side. Oscillations in the movement of the mug create "coffee tsumanis", which result in coffee overflow.

- slow down. speeding will only get you there maybe 30 seconds faster.

However, keep in mind that THE SAFEST SPEED to travel on a road is 5-7 over (assuming good weather and a car in decent condition). I heard this from a traffic consultant. It's also unlikely to get you pulled over.
Can you explain why this is?

Because everyone speeds. If you are travelling at 65mph on the highway, everyone else will need to pass you. You become the bottleneck, which results in wrecks. The guy weaving around you at 90mph may cause the wreck, but you would have a part in it.

If you ever get into a fight, ALWAYS keep your hands up.
If you get in a fight, run away.
If you can't run away, kick them in the balls.
If you can't kick them in a balls/don't want to look like a pussy, kick them in the shin.
Then smack their jaw with your knee or elbow as they go down, or now run away.

Don't fight unless you have to. Pride is a full set of teeth, but if you have to fight tuck your chin down so you don't get punched in the throat.

Some more driving tips:

In Winter weather, if you feel your back wheels sliding turn your front wheels into the direction of the slide rather than away.

If someone's tail-gating, turn on your parking lights and accelerate. It confuses them, and they almost always back off or pass.

If you find people are blocking you from driving a decent speed on a 4-lane drive like you're drunk (warning, look for cops first). They'll either speed up or slow down and give you a wide berth.

On the subject of women:

Confidence plays a big role, but the greatest thing to do is confuse them in a non-threatening manner. It's something to do with being mysterious, but also while their wondering why you behaved that way they are thinking about you. Warning, I mean be clever not a J-A.

Girls you meet in the bar will eventually go back to the bar. I've seen that so many times.

Don't buy into the hype of Next-Gen Technology, usually the second batch works much better than the first. It is expensive initially and usually will be recalled (of sorts).

Avoid trite, one or two sentence homilies posing as timeless wisdom and foisted on you by smug strangers so excruciatingly boring that their own children wish violent death on them in elaborate fantasies that feature large chuncks of granite and fire.

Specifically, if someone feels it's necessary to pretensiously give you advice that in any way involves traffic signals, feel free to key their car when they're not looking.

Leave the smarm to Hallmark, they're the professionals.

1) Don't apply for margin or option privledges at your broker or discount broker of choice and expect to be approved if you put down your occupational status is "Student" or "Unemployed".

2) Don't invest your life savings into one company/stock

3) Buying pink sheet and junk stocks that are worth $.0002 a share is not investing. It's having fun or gambleing. Don't be shocked when that stock stops trading and your 5.8 millions shares that you own aren't worth the $40 stock certificate they are printed on.

4) Don't whiz on the electric fence

5) There are certain times in your life where being a humble wuss pays off. Being pulled over by a cop is one of them. You answer them with "Yes sir/mam", do as they ask, and you'll be in much better shape than playing the "I didn't do anything wrong" Asshole.

Very good tip.

Drop some ice cubes on the "smashed carpet marks" that furniture leaves behind, and the carpet rejuvinates quicker and easier.
