Or I could just be a whiny little b***h.

I've worked what felt like two months to get enough money to pay for ONE class at a Community College, I'm really starting to hate my job (again), It seems like there are no good paying jobs around here.

My motherboard has killed two HDD and I doubt DFI will pay for damages (it's easy enough to get them RMA'd but the loss of data is what pissed me off).

My Mother doesn't have enough money to buy a goddamn dryer, so we are hanging clothes over banisters to dry them until we get the money. My Dad can't work because some ****-hole ran into him eight years ago. Dad was DOA and while he was in a coma for three months the man that hit him tried to sue us for every thing we were worth and would have won (Due to a series of unfortunate and unexplainable events) if my Mother hadn't filed bankruptcy and has financially screwed us since.

And I'm sitting next to a computer that is most likely worth over $3000 trying to feel sorry for myself while a homeless family is freezing to death out on the streets.

Go me.

*Update*: Life doesn't suck anymore.

The only solution is suicide. But eat some hash browns first, it'll make the exit more pleasant.

Student loans are your savior!

Fvck the debt. It's the only "respectable" debt you can go into other than a mortgage.

EDIT: Eat some hash browns anyway. They're delicious.

EDIT #2 after your edit: It's UNFORTUNATE (that one took me awhile), and I do wish you the best. That ramming into your pops is a a sad story. Good luck.

I've yet to meet a person that didn't like fried potato products. If anything, I think hash browns, french fries, potato cakes, etc. would actually deter an individual from killing themselves, or at the very least, make them a bit happier. People's emotional states are closely tied to their palate - why do you think so many people sit on their couch, watch tv, and down a pint of haagen dazs/ben and jerry's when they're feeling down?

Seriously, fried potato products are the solution to all life's problems. That, and a baked tilapia loin brushed with olive oil, a light spread of salt, some lemon pepper, and some cajun spices.

Why do you hate America? You must be with the terrorists. You're either with the spud-lovers or against us.

You should seek professional help. Get therapy or something.

Yeah, I'm not sure I understand why you put that much into a computer in that situation. I would sell every part of that computer and just get something to get by with.

Also, get student loans for your education, financial aid will help as well, be smart about what you do.

a $500 system is more than adequate, especially if you don't have the means for anything more. if your current situation, time will only make things better. Even though you hate your job, just consistently working would at least allow you to save up and buy one thing at a time to make life better. You just have to be patient.

There's no reason to have a computer that cost 3,000 when your family is in that situation. Get student loans... do what you have to do.

I understand your situation thought. I live with my grandmother and she's dying. When she goes her kids (my uncles and aunts) are selling the house. I will likely have no place to go and cannot afford to pay higher rent then I pay. Likely when she dies I will be sleeping in my car for a little while. I guess I'm going to have to transfer to another school and rack up more student debt living in a dorm. Life sucks... but it will get better.

I make $10/hr working a job I should get paid $15 for... but it's good for my resume so I don't really complain. Same thing though... I've been looking and can't find anything that pays more.

edit: I built this computer for $400 a few months ago. That's all you need.

You ain't kidding. I once received a $150 tip on a $32 order. I guess that should go in that "what are the odds?" (or what ever it was called) thread.

I have a $3,000 computer becuase some how my mother managed to convince me that we weren't hurtting that bad for money and it was ok for me to use my money on things such as this. I was also getting into the Video editting field and so it was more of an investment. But after a nasty internship I saw what it was like to work in that field and decided to look into other career options.

And as far as the Motherbaord. The SATA controller is somehow killing drive slowly over time. I have no clue as to how it happend, I just turned on my computer one day and Windows wouldn't boot. Relaoded windows but the drive was slower than cold molases trying to run up-hill. Then a few wees latter, POOF!

It was working on the 2nd HDD before I cought on. Drive still reads but makes a horrid noise and is also slow.

honestly it hasn't been untill now that I really stoped to take notice how bad it really is for us.

My mother is a little proud and doesn't like for me to know how bad it really is, even with me hellping with the bills every month. I probably will sell of some parts and down grade a good ammount now that I really don't have a need for that much power.

Anyone want a X2 3800? Can't OC worth a damn but really, you don't need to. :)

Edit: Yes I'm going to take english classes to help woth my crappy spelling/grammar. :p
