Climb

Climb, but one more step away
Crawl while your baby feet don't walk
Step by step and bit by bit
Climb those dusty, worn-out stairs
Cry when you get a splinter
Cause, baby, they hurt like hell
And when you reach a landing
Remember to breathe and sleep
Find a warm body to rest your head
But climb, climb and climb
One more step: so far up
Don't let the height scare you
Look up and keep on going
Baby, you're gonna stumble
Oh yes, and fall and bleed
But look up at the higher sky
All the life you got, walk it firm
Cause when you're old and tired
All you can do is crawl again
And hope there's a place, some place
To come to a final landing
Look around, up down sideways
And rest your head for the last time
Rest those feet, so tired from the climbing
But until then, you gotta climb
You gotta climb.

Cheers ! 🙂

Post your own life lessons here:

1. Learn to enjoy your own company. You are the one person you can count on living with for the rest of your life.

Money can buy you everything except true happiness

Learn to think independantly when it comes to politics.

As an ex-conservative (a staunch one at that).....it took me years to realize how most of my views weren't really my own. But rathers the obvious ones....given my desire to belong or conform to something...in a simple manner.

Staunch liberals have the same problem.

Thinking in an independant fashion is NOT easy. But it can be VERY rewarding. I feel a lot better about myself as a person....and my life (and finances) have steadily improved ever since.

Even when things look bad and hopeless they can get better. Stick it out and when you look back you'll see how far you've come.

And don't take the present for granted. You could have cancer, be paralyzed etc. and all those things still could happen, but at least you'll be able to look back and said you knew what you had.

Oh yeah, and buy Nissan.

2. If you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you, it is yours. If it doesn't, then it never was.
Isn't it if you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you, it's yours. If it doesn't, hunt it down and kill it?🙂

Unless the person you let go is thinking the exact same thing. I've actually seen a case of that happening.

nah..declare bankrupcy and walk away scott free (at least till they pass new the bankrupcy law later this year)

Life is suffering.
Suffering is caused by desire.
Detachment from ego ends suffering.
Internal detachment CAN be achieved.

1. just because there's a goalie, doesn't mean you can't score.
2. Guys in general conform to the ladder system.
3. when playing with the innards of an ATX power supply, make sure it's discharged before you start.

Money does not bring happiness and joy, only self discipline and contentment can do that 🙂

1. "No" means no.
2. Never mess with another man's woman.
3. Eat, sleep, and drink when you can, because you'll never know when you'll get another chance.
