Ok I have to make a choice and was just trying to get some input on it.

After this semester I will have 2 classes left to graduate. I really dont like my college anymore and want to move on as quickly as possible. I live in the country and am a big fan of the city so thats my main goal. Here are my choices

1. Go to Japan and teach english for a year. While I am there I can take the two classes over the year to finish my degree. I have lived there before and studied abroad there last semester. Its a great time and I want to go back.

2. Move to NY or DC try and stay with a friend while taking classes at another college and working

3. Move back home with my parents and work at my moms store. If I did this I would save about 8 grand by the time December is over, have a degree and then be free to go to japan, maybe travel europe a bit, or really do anything I want. The thing is that i really dont want to work for my mom right now or live with my parents(not that i dont love my parents,i just like living on my own). It is also highly likely that in the far future I will take over her business.

I am leaning torwards A.

Well if you have two classes left you really cant transfer schools. They usually have a min. of 30 credits you have to take from them in order to graduate. I say just stick it out where you are right now... and when you do finish then go to japan since that seems like what you really want to do.

If you do option 1 will you be paid?

If not option 3 is the least attractive but most intelligent.

If you will get paid what do you expect your costs to be vs how much you will make?

I like 1 if the money is enough to get by and have some left over to save.

If you enjoy it then I say you go back (Japan) and do what makes you happy. :) Ganbatte Onegai Shimasu!

I say option 1 too. i lived at home right after i graduated while i worked in nyc for 2 years. it was tough to say the least. i certainly love my mother, but once you're old enough the conflict between your life and your parents' rules can become too large.

japan is fantastic, but you already know that. talk to people who did the JET program. see what they thought about it.

I couldnt do nova cause it takes a year to apply for it. Also you cant pick where you go and i deff would only want to go to tokyo or osaka.

I would do Nova or Aeon and the pay isnt great. The friends I have doing it right now say that after food and rent they usually have enough money to do what they want to have fun within reason. The one friend who plays wow is saving a ton of money lol.

Option 3 really is the best option. It's guaranteed money, degree and ability to go anywhere you want to after.

Plus it's nice to spend quality time with family before you go abroad for awhile anyway.

That's a hard one, good luck.
