Life at 50.

Past Lifer 1957-2014 In Memoriam
Doesn't seem different from life at 49, except for the parade and 76 bloody trombones. Still, hitting the halfway mark is something to sing about.

Another 26 years and I'll be there with you.

76 bloody trombones? Never heard that one.

Spike's comment in Once More With Feelings was a Joss Whedon tribute to a famous musical.

Meredith Willson wrote the song "76 trombones" for the musical The Music Man, which was a hit both on Broadway and as a 1962 musical motion picture.

Statistically speaking, you're closer to the three-quarters mark.

Happy birthday!

Whats wrong with that? I am 22 and know that musical quite well....saw it in NY in fact.

I'm 27 now, and a friend recently informed me I was to stop chasing 18-year-old poon.

My question is: At what age am I just a silly old man and it becomes acceptable to start again?
Or is it more of a question of net worth and just taking on a gold-digger?

So any words of wisdom that you could impart on us younger folks? You know... words of wisdom that we could ask our parents for, but instead opt to listen to some old guy from the internet we barely even now.... 😛

I'll be 31 in a week and started visiting AT when I was 23. 😱

EDIT:
Happy birthday, Denis. 🙂
