In a mega dose of good news for the GOP, Senator Lieberman is supposed to endorse John McCain for President tomorrow.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/200...pK5hOQTVqjEA6QIbms0NUE

As many as 9 to 11 likely democratic voters nationwide may follow the lead of Lieberman.

So there you have it folks, McCain will save the day for the ole GOP. Surge, McCain, Surge.

Since Robertson already has said God himself is aboard, now Lieberman can lead the GOP to the second coming of Jesus Christ. Who better to complete the ticket than Romney as VP?

And now the GOP can abort Giuliani.

Sorry for missing your post, and fair is fair you beat me by some 21 minutes while I was gathering my link and making my post.

I imagine the mods will lock one thread or the other and its their choice.

But could McCain arise from the dead? And surge on to win the GOP nomination. Oddly enough, he seems the lone Republican to get it on torture, freedom issues, and campaign finance reform. And would probably send GWB's neocons packing.

There is a reason why more active servicemen are donating money to Ron Paul rather than the traitor McCain.

McCain may be a lot of things, but he's not a traitor. You're pathetic. :|

Ohhh, you mean selling out to torture for political gain? Or was it not fighting illegal immigration by keeping our boarders open to anybody and everybody while beating the drum of terrorism? How about saying that we need to help "americans" when his only goal is to help out businesses?

Wow, he's sold us out for himself at all junctures, how is that not a traitor?

No, what is pathetic is sending our brave men and women who signed up to defend our country off to attack someone else's.

how has McCain sold out on torture? seems like he's been against it from day one.

he had convictions on illegal immigration as a senator from a border state... clearly, people disagreed with his views, he's admitted this, and has backed down from his position to respect what the people want.

He came out tough on torture, which as very admirable, then watered it down so much in power brokering that it became essentially worthless. As far as illegal immigration, what people? Business owners trying to squeeze an extra few bucks?

What about terrorists crossing the boarder?

is there some kind of reading comprehension problem going on here? heh.

McCain originally supported an amnesty type of program... clearly, that support was against the mainstream republican view and he's since said that he respects that and agrees that border security should be the first priority.

amazing... a candidate who actually changes his views to respect his constituents :Q

McCain is a washed up loser from the 2000 Presidential election, the Straight Talk Express should be renamed the Sellout Express, and his irrelevancy in Presidential politics is only matched by your irrelevancy in any meaningful political discussion on ATOT.
