I was wondering if there was any elegant way of keeping the MBP's lid open a tad while ostensively having the lid closed as far as the system is aware.
Yes, I know you can carefully close it to a level where the system thinks the lid is closed while the lid is still open, but I'd like to be able to do it reliably without fuss.
I'm looking at the possibility of keeping some spare machines going as very light-duty servers, and having the lid physically closed is advantageous for various reasons, while as some of you may know, since the MBP's use the keyboard as a partial intake, completely closing the lid means the already too-high system temps on the Macs shoots up, which starts the mini-Dyson going.
