I do volunteer pc work at the senior center in town. We have several pc's that we cannot give out because we have no OS for them.

Questions are:

1. We are a non profit organization. With the proper paperwork/creditionals can we get the OS (XP, Vista or 7) for a discount?

2. I know you can buy multiple licenses. Can we use 1 disk if we buy multiple licenses from Microsoft?

3. To keep this completely legal is there somewhere I can read about the purchase of license/cd's so I know what I am doing?

Thanks.

I also do volunteer work at a local community center, and we conduct training courses for seniors. This is the site you need to deal with:

http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/licensing-options/for-industries.aspx#tab=4

Make sure it is the charity tab. I don't believe you can then give the OS equiipped machines away. The charity volume license normally applies to machines retained for charitable public use/training.

Anyway - Microsoft will be able to give you specifics.
