License to Wed feat. Mandy Moore, John Krasinski & Robin Williams.

I watched this movie per stupid GF's recommendation. Predictable and forgettable.

Anyways, have you noticed the movie had almost everyone's cast from The Office? We were skeptical at first, but more casts from The Office showed up as cameo.

The movie has:
Jim from The Office (the main character)
Kevin
Phyllis
Angela (Dwight's ex)
and even Kelly, that indian girl.

This can't be a coincidence that the most of The Office's cast is in the movie. IMDB didn't comment anything on this. Anyone know what happened?

Looks like the director also was the director of multiple episodes of The Office. I guess he liked the actors he worked with?

Too bad it wasn't a movie that anyone besides the OP and his GF ;) saw. I really like the actors from the Office.

Dammit, I thought you were talking about Ricky Gervais. I guess I'll have to still not see it.

I saw it with my gf. Honestly, its kinda funny, more so than you'd expect from a girly movie. I liked it, it had its moments, mostly because Jim (forget his name in the movie) is sort of the same character as he is on the show. Not quite as laid back, but funny enough.
