The French were compensated once by Libya for a seperate incident and now they snivel about this arrangement.

That's lame. They'll probably end up causing a deadlock on this new agreement. No respect for the dead.

This had a lot more going on behind-the-scenes than merely "cash for the dead". It had a lot more to do with Libya getting tired of the sanctions and figuring doing this was the only way.
