I saw this, last night, and I thought it could be something most of us from any side of the political spectrum could agree to have some fun with trolling Al Qaeda. Story on businessinsider.com:

Last night an Al Qaeda affiliate asked its loyal Twitter followers for suggestions to help with Public Relations, and the Twitter hive mind answered.

A linguist fluent in Arabic tells Business Insider the original hashtag translated to "#Suggestions_to_Develop_Jihadist_Media".

J.M. Berger, a counter terrorism expert who wrote the book "Jihad Joe: Americans Who Go To War In The Name Of Jihad," started the trolling with this tweet:

Hey everybody, Al Qaeda is using this hashtag to solicit ideas for media ops #اقتراحك_لتطوير_اﻹعلام_الجهادي -- you should all send some.

Among my favorite tweets:

Arabic reads right to left, copying and pasting the hashtag appears to work. I'm not sure if the hashtag should be on the left or the right, but I thought it could be fun to join the fray and enjoy some trolling for a good cause. :biggrin:

I'm not encouraging trolling AT or any other legit site or account, but I see no harm in a little contructive trolling of Al Qaeda. Is this a problem for you?

This has nothing to do with making fun of any religion. It has everything to do with constructive use of trolling techniques to disrupt the activites of a bunch of blood thirsty jacksses whose stated intent is to do us in.

How often do we get a chance to do it at all, let alone with humor? I don't use Twitter. If I did, I'd suggest something like offering free coupons for beer and pork rinds or extra virgin olive oil with extra real virgins. :biggrin:
