LibreOffice 6.1.x on Linux, Calc 'Sort' UI issues

I've been using LO 6.0.x on Lubuntu 18.04 RTS for some time without any issues. I tried upgrading to 6.1 but when I select a bunch of rows (by highlighting the row labels), a significant delay occurs when I attempt to open the 'Sort' dialog (Data menu > 'Sort...'), compared to it instantaneously opening in 6.0. Also in that UI when I click on a column list box to sort by, there's a whole load of blank rows above the default option.

I've also tried the stock version of LO (6.1.2 I think) that came with Lubuntu 18.10 which has the problem, but the Windows x64 version doesn't.

It looks like it's an issue with 6.1 and Lubuntu at least (though I'd be interested in knowing whether it's just Lubuntu that's affected), I tried 6.2 out in a Lubuntu 18.10 VM and neither problem occurs.
