I don't know why I didn't start doing this before, but I just borrowed 10 music cd's from the library. Then they told me the limit was 50 items out at once. This is better than netflix! They have a pretty good selection too, especially for classical stuff.
 
Free CD rentals, DVD's, Gaming mags, free broadband internet use, air conditioning. Even damn Manga. Yes, they do indeedly rock much ass.
 
Our library not only has CDs and DVDs, they are part of a state-wide network so I can borrow any circulating item from any library in the state that participates, AND they have a ton of on-line databases you can use from home.

Just used the online system the other day to use Consumer Reports to research some tires.
 
My only complaint is that the older CDs tend to have a ton of scratches on them to the point where they sometimes skip.

But yeah, I love just borrowing it for a couple days and ripping them on to my computer. EAC + FLAC
