Actually, I would like to see less liberal social engineering, and less conservative neocon neonazism too. The problem is this is at odds with what I believe about government working for the common welfare (not welfare as it has become known) I think that people who can should work, and that an honest toilet attendent is more deserving of respect than a crooked CEO. I also know that that crook is going to get all the benefits of power, position, and wealth, while many would like to institute a system by which the janitors children die if they get sick, because those damn government people arent taking their hard earned cash, and the crook deserves the money more anyway. Many call for charity to take care of that. Well, there is more greed than charity in America. Most people in America today don't know who their neighbors are, and if they were starving wouldnt take the time to bring over a loaf of bread. So I have two irreconcilable views about libertarians views as I understand them (which I admit may be incomplete). If people were more generous in nature and in fact, then I could much more easily accept views I often see promoted here regarding taxation etc.
