LOL. Can FoxNews be for real? Check out the attached link and open up the photos of the two candidates. Fox uses a good photo of Bush saluting and they use a pic of Kerry with his mouth wide open and giving the old sieg heil salute.

I agree the photos present different images, however, it is not as though Fox is the only news source trying to portray its favorite in a good light.

The NY Times decided to make Kerry's statement look like something ordinary by writing an article pointing out similar instances in the past by other politicians. Rather than use an uncomplementary photo, the NY Times made certain to point out very early in its article that Bush was also overheard making some remarks during the 2000 campaign. Instead of ignoring Kerry's statement or trying to defend it, the NY Times decided to address the issue by slipping it into an article discussing political slips of tongue in a very general manner.

No, but Fox is clear in it's blanket approval of anything Bush.

It was an ordinary statement and quite easy to understand, unless one buys the carefully crafted media images that both sides would prefer we see.

The sole reason that Fox was created was to offer a conservative alternative to all of the other highly liberal/left biased news programs out there....

The head/owner of Fox was so tired of ABC, NBC, CBS and CNNs blatant liberal slant that he took it upon himself to make a conservative news program....

so yes, there is a right slant with fox whereas with all other stations the lean is heavily heavily left, you want bias? Katie Courick cried when Bush won, how more biased can one be?

To those who complain about liberal media bias at the "other" news networks, please post an equally blatant link in which Bush is portrayed looking stupid and Kerry is portrayed looking presidential on the same page. I very much doubt that you will find anything as ridiculous as Fox, but I'd love to be proven incorrect...

Oh and just because FOX is out there does not mean the media doesn't lean left. You may try to yap about FOX News and their bias all day - I don't think FOX is the issue though since they are relatively new to the playing field but have helped to pull the needle more towards the center but it by itself can't overpower the leftist bias of the rest of them.

When all the news organizations are owned by huge billion dollar enterprises that place business interests ahead of news, I find this liberal thing laughable. This is much like the fallacy that dem when in power love big government and big spending and republicans like the opposite. The facts point in exactly the opposite direction...

while you might not find that specific example, just listen to the stories that get top priority over at CNN, ABC, CBS, and NBC...if you cannot see/hear the liberal/left bias then you must be blind and deaf...at least those on the right admit Fox is more conservative...sorry but this was my major in college and every professor I had at my highly liberal school openly admitted and were almost proud of the fact that much of if not all of mainstream media was far more liberal than conservative, they attributed it to the deception at watergate and also the happenings of the vietnam war...

the owners may be big, but the reporters are still very bias, and if you cannot clearly see that dems love spending on social services whereas conservatives dont then you are more biased and blinded by it than you would put off.
