she really was a student... the versions that I heard was that she cheated on her bf and he released the videos to get back at her, or that his roommate found them and released them

Libby Hoeler really was a student at the Unversity of Wisconsin-Madison. I can't remember the school her bf attended (it was one of the Illinois schools iirc).
