Lian PC-60 and others: actually running cooler than others?

Do these alluminum (Lian PC-60 and other) cases run cooler inside because "alluminum dissipates heat faster", or do the have no actual temperature advantages and are simply nice-looking?

Anyone got a URL comparing temperatures of a regular and alluminum case?

Are these cases louder because there is no front plastic to shield the noise?
