Lian Li vs CoolerMaster

I'm trying to decide between these two cases and I'm wondering which do you guys recommend?

LIAN LI PC-82 for $149
This comes with side window, 4 usb ports in the front and 3 fans.

CoolerMaster PAC-T01 Praetorian for $126
This has a Top fan and audio firewire and 2 usb ports in the front and it's cheaper.

Thanks.

I'm in love with my Coolermaster ATC-201B-SX1 which is functionally the same as the Praetorian. Build quality is top notch and cooling is great. I also prefer the look of Coolermaster cases, but that's a personal thing.

I was thinking about getting the Coolermaster too. I don't think I need the 4 USB ports and if I wanted, I could cut my own window on the side panel. But it's a Lian Li !!!

I dunno, but im not liking that square grill on the front of that pretorian... Lian Li has a very solid design also

Which ones? The Praetorian just seems like a name given to the ATC-201 series of cases. Their other cases are also very nice, similar designs. You won't get me near one with a door, however... they're too much of a hassle.

I have to toss my hat in the ring of Coolermaster as well. ILOVE mine.... although mine doesn't have the front fans as i would like, I drilled 1/4 inch holes in a pattern in the bottom to increase flow... works like a charm!!!!! I LOVE this case!!

the praetorian is comparable to the PC-60

both are excellent quality, I think the coolermaster is better out of the box, lian li's are more moddable to suit your cooling needs

I prefer lian li

I've had my Lian Li PC-65B for more than a year now and I will never buy anything other than a Lian Li from now on. Lots of open space, easy to work in, stylish and solid.

So what are the biggest differences between a LIAN LI and a COOLERMASTER? They seem very close in terms of the overall structure.

I prefer the way LianLi's are built inside, much better than CMs imo. The removeable hd-rack is a great thing for example.
CMs do often have a better look outside though but as said before their look is more finshed so that might also decrease the amount of possible mods.
Oh, and I never cut myself on a LianLi, all edges were smooth but when I build a computer recently in a CM case for a friend I ended up with a pretty big cut, might have gotten unlucky though as most people say CMs have well rounded edges.

From my experience, CM's have better overall fit and finish, and they seem sturdier. But because of that, it's harder psychologically to take a dremel to them. The upshot for me has been that my Lian Li has been modded to have better airflow and to operate quieter.

Which is more useful, 4 USB ports or 2 USB ports, iEEE, and audio ports?

To me or you? Personally as long as I have at least a couple usb ports up front, I'm good to go. I don't have any firewire devices and my headphones are connected to my receiver.
