Lian Li V1200 side panels...

Since the new Lian Li V1200plus II came out with the new vent at the top of the right side panel I've been wanting to upgrade my V1200plus to the plus II version. However, I can't seem to the a V1200 (silver) plus II side panel, they stock the panels for the V1000plus II and the V2000plus II at performance-pcs.com, but not the one I'm looking for. Just wondering if anyone knows a place that has the V1200 version.

as far as I know performance-pcs.com sells everything lian-li has to offer, and alot more because they custom fabricate some window kits and whatnot. I just looked at lian-li's website and I dont see a kit for the V1200 window, just the V1000/2000 and the W65/70/75 etc.

You might try to contact performance-pcs.com and see if they can take a normal door from the V1200 and modify it for you. They do alot of case mods, so it may not be too expensive.

I actually talked to them in Friday. They said that they would special order a few of the v1200plus II side panels, and that I should check back with them in the few weeks. The guy didn't sound particularly enthusiastic or optimistic, so I'll have to see what happens. I have actually considered just picking up a new v1000plus II, and selling the v1200plus. I don't really need the extra length on the v1200, and the case is really a bit too long for most cables IMO. if I have any issues fitting the PSU I'll just loose the second HD rack the way Guru3D did.

hmm, what color is your V1200 plus? I am planning on buying a lian-li case to replace my Centurion cooler master, because I built a PC-201B and 2 PC-101B based computers at my office and have fallen in love with lian-li's quality. Also I broke one of the USB ports on the Centurion 532 (ripped the piece out after tangling a USB headset around my foot). Plus the centurion is very very mediocre.

Anyways, I was thinking of buying a PC-101B, but the V1200 would be an excellent choice as well, since its the same inside but longer. Let me know if you end up selling yours.
