Anybody with one of these know the dimensions of the psu area? Conversely, does anybody have this case with an Enermax NoiseTaker v2 600w in it and does it fit?

Thanks in advance.

there isn't much of a difference in price. don't buy the V1000, buy the 1200 instead. i just got it and it is a very very sweet case.

I understand its the same case only longer for an E-ATX mobo., but I would still like to know if anybody has the dimensions.

Actually I only NEED about 500 (planning on running 2 6800 GT's and I undetstand they are power hogs), but I've heard they are good units and pretty low on noise.

I am also interested in whether a PCP&C 510 Express would fit in this case
Yes. I PCP&C 510 Express WILL DEFINITELY FIT in a V1000. I know that the 510 ATX, 510 ATX Deluxe, 510 Express, and the 510 SLI all have the same dimensions, and I have a 510 ATX Deluxe mounted in my V1000.

Heres' a link to a PCP&C page that shows the specs on these PS':

http://www.pcpowercooling.com/...rbocools/510/index.htm

BTW, PCP&C PS ratings are read at 50C (510-series MINIMUM 510W at 50C). Some companies rate their PS' at 25C, which is unrealistic. This makes such a company's PS(s) output look better than in the "real world".

Thanks. I am debating between the 1200 and 2000 for only $40 more. Do you think the 2000 would have significantly better cooling?

Well the V1200 is a much deeper case (100mm=3.9"), and the PS compartment is MUCH deeper, so you will have MUCH more room in the PS compartment.

As far as cooling improvement is concerned that is difficult to say. The added interior air volume may help to some extent, as well as the air being able to move about more freely. However, the V1200 still uses two 120mm fans (same number as the V1000) and I find it unlikely that Lian Li spec'd different fans between the V1000 and V1200, although I DID NOT research the fan specs on the Lian Li web site.

I say if you have the space and want or need a bigger case go for the V1200 or the V2000. But the V1000 is a great case too. You can't pick a loser between the three.

i have the Lian Li 1200 and an older Lian Li 67. i LOVE my 1200. it's a GREAT case. very roomy. the only thing is, you might need extenders if you want to put an optical drive in the top bay as the Powersupply is way at the bottom corner.

other than that. it's a great case, extremely well designed and well made.
