Lian Li V1000 vs. V1200

I've been to the Lian Li website either I'm blind or they don't really have difference in their specs. Anybody know the difference between these two?

the pc-v1200 is a bit longer and can support extended atx.

Forgive my ignorance, but why would I need space for an extended atx mobo?

E-ATX is used for larger or "server" motherboards. It won't fit in a V-1000.
