Lian-Li stock fans

I'm thinking of using a Lian-Li PC-A05FNB for a build I'm slowly piecing together. How loud are the stock fans? I would like to use the default "backwards" airflow with rear fan drawing air through a Corsair H60 rad. Will it be good enough for that or am I better off replacing both fans with Noctua NF-P12?

Lian fans are generally okay. If you want better airflow get something different

I've used stock Lian Li fans in my last two cases (PC-K7B and PC-8FIR) and in some builds for other people. They seem fine. I think their typical 120mm fan runs around 1000-1200 RPM-ish. Reasonably quiet and moves air. I see nothing wrong with them other than the loss of e-peen from not being able to carry on conversations about the expensive and obscure fans I like to use and swear by.

I'm not concerned about e-peen, since Lian-Li is highly exotic here and I'll get mine big enough by that alone 😀. Anyway, if they really aren't screamers then all is good. Since I'm a quiet freak I'm still going to install soundproofing and have a nice inconspicuous looking and sounding rig.

if you're a quiet freak, you'll be replacing the stock lian li's. they're borderline acceptable at about 7 volts. scythe slipstreams are 1 choice of replacement.

Hmm, since I would like to use an H60 and Slipstreams are not known as good fans for rads, then maybe a Gentle Typhoon would do the job better? I used both before and to my ears a 1150RPM GT is totally acceptable.

Pretty much this. Gentle typhoons are the best 120 mm fans you can buy. Especially the higher and highest speed ones as they're long life, they move a lot of air, and they have good air pressure.
