Guys,

I'm looking at getting a couple of these fan controllers: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/10...04B.html#blank

They don't list the specifications as far as Wattage per channel etc.

I need to connect some Delta 120mm fans that have a max output of ~31.3W and so I need to find a controller that can handle them. I will have six Delta fans so a six-fan controller is a must.

Can anyone help me find the specs of this particular controller?

Or recommend another controller that can do the job?

Thanks.

EDIT: I just called FrozenCPU and the guy there just said, "I don't know!" :(

Looks like that Lamptron ought to do it... FrozenCPU has video:

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/84...lack_FC-2.html

edit: although from reading the reviews, I'd question the quality if that thing.

edit 2: I would not buy that piece of crap - http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/cases_cooling/lamptron_fc-2_rheobus_fan_controller/3

Yea, I've seen the "high wattage" Lamptron FC-2 before and have read the reviews. Like you've shown, that fan controller sucks. It's too bad because it supposedly does 45W per channel which is more than enough for the Deltas.

This is getting really annoying because I want the best airflow in my case but to have them run at 100% all the time will make them way too loud.

There's got to be another fan controller that can handle more than 30W per channel? Would it be wise to try to connect the Deltas to the Rhobeus Extreme since they can do 30W per channel??

Fans usually use less wattage than the label values when running. The label is startup current, which is a lot higher than continuous running current.

So even at full speed, the 30W Sunbeam should be ok. You could always stick a tiny fan onto the Sunbeam itself, it should be able to handle even more wattage with some active airflow over it.
