Hi I posted this in the Case & Cooling forum but no one replied :(

Hope get a reply here....

I've tried wiring up the front USB ports on my new Lian Li PC60USB to my ECS K7AMA (same pin header as K7S5A, K7VTA3) mobo but they don't seem to work.

I downloaded a diagram of the header on the ECS board, but I am a little confused as to what goes where, I'll try to explain....

ECS K7AMA board....

1 VC ----| |---- 2 VC
3 Data0 ----| |---- 4 Data0
5 Data1 ----| |---- 6 Data1
7 GN ----| |---- 8 GN
9 KE x----| |---- 10 OC

(The 9 x is a blank pin (you know theres no pin there)).

PC60 USB Wires....

USB Power (red)
D- White
D+ Green
GND Black
GND Black
D+ Green
D- White
USB Power (red)

Edit: I have uploaded the diagrams, click here!

I have tried attaching the reds to the VC on the MOBO, white to data0, green to data1 and black to GND but it doesn't seem to work. Tried afew other combinations too.

Anyone with any suggestions it'd be much appreciated.

Many thanks.

don't they sell USB adapters for use in front of the case? would be much simpler than trying to wire it yourself... sorry i can't help, never tried myself

No...the usb ports are already installed. I guess I used the wrong word 'wire'. There are 8 wires which need to get connected to the pins on the mobo, I just don't know what goes where.
