Hey all.

I was looking at this new case from Lian-Li and was wondering if anyone has one? If you do, did you have any issues with it? Specifically:

Any PSU that didn't quite fit
For that matter, any parts not fitting
Quality issues
Water cooling conciderations

I have read the review over @ overclockers and they really seemed to like it. Any threads or replies would be helpful

Current rig (built Dec 2003)

P4c @ 3.0GHz
ABIT IC7-MAX3
1GB Corsair XMS (512 x 2) PC3200
2 x WD 36GB Raptors in RAID 0
SB Audigy 2 (gamer edition)
ATI Radeon 9800XT
Samsung CR/RW DVD 52x32x52x16x
Lian Li PC75 USB
Vantec "Stealth' 520W PSU
Custom H2O kit with Danger Den blocks, Hydor L30, Black Ice Extreme 120mm

BTW - DOOM 3 ROCKS! High Quality mode @ 1600 x 1200. Plays real smooth! Heat haze is awesome!

I have this case and can tell you that it should fit an oversized PS fine. look at all the room you have with a standard PS. So far the only thing I am concerned about is it the SATA cables will reach the motherboard. The motherboard will be here tuesdayish so I'll let you know. Worst case I can see is I'll get longer cables or I move the SATA drives to the uppermost corner of the drive cage. Th equality is superb on this thing. the side panels are very sturdy. my water cooling solution is the cooler master aquagate (matches so nicely) with an extra danger den doulble 80 radiator mounted above the PS.

Good pic ethex. People are getting confused between the V1000, and the V2000.

AS for the SATA cables. I am using 24" cables for my V1000. They are are perfect for running them out the left side, and hiding them. I would imagine the V2000 would require longer ones.

I have a V2000 - only serious issue is cable length, so I went with 36" SATA cables (within spec) and 26" Antec rounded IDE cables (out of spec, but shielded and groundable)

Because of cabling concerns, I mounted a few of my HDDs upside down to make cable routing/management easier:)

Nice Find D.M. I havent put in my MSI Neo2 yet but once I do (this weekend probably) I'll let anyone know if that is needed unless of course someone else can speak to this particular board

I have the v1100b and a MSI K8N Neo Platinum. My motherboard has a very similar layout to the Neo2 (at least in terms of the front panel connectors) and the only connectors I have a problem with, in terms of length, are the front panel audio connectors. The fp audio connectors are all the way in the top back corner of the mobo when installed and the fp audio cables come from the bottom front of the case. I had to reroute the cabling through the closest hard drive bay and across the motherboard. (I don't have a digital camera, so I can't show you pics, sorry.) I would imagine the 2000/2100 would be even more of a stretch, so I highly reccomend getting the extensions if you plan on using the built in audio.
